Burlesque on the Go-Go makes Houston debut this month

Houston’s House of Blues plays host to New York’s hottest burlesque stars this month as Dangerous Curves Ahead: Burlesque on the Go-Go makes it’s H-town debut on Oct. 25. Also on the bill are Elisa Davis, founder of Dallas’ Ruby Revue; Coco Lectric, co-founder of Austin’s Jigglewatts troupe and recently crowned Queen of Burlesque; and Grace Truvant, headmistress of Houston’s Lady Grace Academy.

The five stars of Burlesque on the Go-Go - Anita Cookie, Clams Casino, Darlinda Just Darlinda, Minnie Tonka and Gigi La Femme - already have a successful 20-city spring tour under their belts and are now looking to grace new stages across the country for the fall.

These starlets have rocked stages from London to Key West and are multiple award winners at the annual Burlesque Hall of Fame pageant in Las Vegas. In addition to selling out venues across the country, they have produced standing-room-only shows in the trendiest New York clubs. With their trademark blend of humor, sex appeal and outrageous performance-art antics, the gals from NYC will treat Houston to an unforgettable evening of burlesque.

Tickets are $20 per person and are available on the Houston House of Blues website or by calling (888) 402-5837.
