It seems that thieves are going to new and strange lengths to get their hands on what they want. On Sept. 18, The Sentinel reported that in Milwaukee a teen burglar without clothes got caught in an air vent.
Milwaukee police say the teen attempted to burglarize a veterinary clinic to steal drugs. Apparently the 19-year-old had taken off his clothes on the roof before breaking into the vent. However, his idea didn't go quite as he had planned. Instead the teen burglar without clothes got stuck in a narrow shaft for nearly 12 hours. He was rescued when employees of Small Animal Hospital heard muffled screams for help.
Police Lt. Mark Stanmeyer said that the teen suffered multiple scrapes and cuts from screws.
This is not the only ridiculous idea to come out in the news. Recently a man shot an arrow that was wrapped in marijuana, aiming for a jail recreational area, but instead shot it on the roof.
In addition to being humiliated and having to be rescued, the teen burglar without clothes is facing a criminal charge of attempted burglary.
