Burglar stops to soak in hot tub

A burglar in Calaveras County, took the opportunity of breaking into a home to use the owners hot tub and get comfortable.
Calaveras County Sheriff's officers reported that a transient living in San Andreas, Ca. broke into a home on the 200 block of Pope Street.
The burglar, Robert Allan London, decided that while he was there, he might as well make use of the hot tub, and did.

The homeowner, however, heard someone in his kitchen and as noted at MyMotherLode, the homeowner yelled at his neighbor to call 911 while he chased down London in the driveway. By the time Sheriff's Deputies arrived, someone had provided a trench coat for the suspect to wear. The suspect had been naked when the unnamed homeowner found him.

London told the deputies he had used the hot tub more than once and had been in the home "more than once" and thought the home was vacant.

London may have gotten tired of breaking into the home, since part of the loot he was reported to have taken, was a set of keys. Keys would of course make it much easier to get in to the home, without all the fuss of having to force his way in.
