Maybe he had just been out in the Florida sun too long with no hat to protect his head. Perhaps he fancies himself as an alien from somewhere in our vast solar system. Or, he could simply be the dimmest light bulb on our planet.
Either way, Brett Eric Drachenburg, 51, is alleged to have stolen a towel from a private home in Walton County, FL. According to the arrest report secured by the Huffington Post, Drachenburg did unlawfully deprive the owner of the use of the towel.
Better yet, Drachenburg attempted to disguise himself as the sun, according to the Northwest Florida Daily News. Exactly what Drachenburg used in his attempt to deceive the detectives was not released. What is known is he was using the disguise in an attempt to obstruct the due execution of law.
Reporters are unsure whether Drachenburg was trying to pose as the actual sun, or as a copy of a publication, such as the Sun Sentinel, which could be referred to as “The Sun”. A spokeswoman for the Walton County Sheriff’s Office told HuffPost that [It looks like] “The Sun” … is the name he gave for himself to the deputy.
I wonder why he needed that towel?
