How do you get someone to try your new product at a fast food restaurant? Give it to them for free! Burger King is giving away free fries this Saturday and Sunday with no purchase necessary.
CNBC reported on Oct. 10 that Burger King is giving away a free order to every customer of its newest french fry product “Satisfries.”
It sounds like BK is preparing for a busy weekend as CNBC reports Burger King expects to give away 10 million value-size orders of the healthier fries, which typically sell for $1.29 each.
10 million value-sized orders? Now that’s a lot of fries to give away!
According to a USA Today report, BK thinks once people try them, they will buy them.
"And if you haven't tasted them, you're missing out." says Alex Macedo, Burger King's president of North America. "We invite guests to bring family and friends."
Not only are these fries bigger than BK’s original potatoes, but they are healthier.
Reports say they have the satisfries have 30% less fat and 20% fewer calories than Burger King's current fries. For us fast-food junkies, that's always good news.
Burger King's menu information reports a small serving of BK's Satisfries currently weighs in at 270 calories and 11 grams of fat while the classic fries contain 340 calories and 15 grams of fat.
If you want to get your free fries be sure to head to your local Burger King this weekend. You can click here for more information and BK locations near you.
