“Bunheads” returns to ABC Family Monday January 7, 2013 and if you thought it left on its hiatus on a high note wait until you see what is next. We last left “Bunheads” after Michelle accidentally pepper sprayed the dancers at the production of “The Nutcracker” (check out the video to the left to see the scene again) and the parents were furious. As she walked out of the hospital the girls tried to keep her from leaving by standing on the chairs saying “oh captain, my captain”. Where did she go? On January 1, 2013 TV Line delivered the scoop and some other fantastic spoilers of what is to come for the rest of the season.
The safe bet is that Michelle went back to Vegas, but my how far she fell. According to Sutton Foster (who plays Michelle) she is “sleeping on her friends couch and working as a magician’s assistant at a casino. It’s pretty sad.” In Paradise the dance studio closed and this leaves the girls “scattered all about. Everyone’s just kind of at a standstill.” While things may look terribly dismal Foster reported that there will be “more dance in the back half (of the season) that there was in the first half.”
