Children who are amongst the bullying do not get much of break in school. Most of us as adults either know someone directly that have been bullied, or have a child that has been bullied. The unfortunate fact about bullying is that it does not just take place in a classroom in elementary or high school, it could be in college, workplace, or even a certain interest you are a part of. A child who is a bully unless stopped grows up to be an adult bully. Of course, most people would not take the older they are, but these people do exist. However, I wrote a poem from a child's point of view in a classroom and I thought it should be heard. Because they are the most effected.
Pure Thinking
Streams are flowing into a lake
Time is going by where is the break.
Hours pass by and time flies.
Where is the solace in my life?
I imagine myself so many times,
Being able to breath without a cry.
But when I sit in a classroom,
Surrounded by evil, it is hard to survive.
I want so badly to fit it,
But here I am in this whirlwind.
Here I cry alone by myself,
Is this cry for me, or them?
There is a story to be told,
Watch the pages as they unfold.
A tear today, a tear tonight,
Please let me be free of
This pain I feel tonight.
