Bulls to sign D-League forward Varnado to 10-day

The Chicago Bulls will sign Justin Varnado to a 10-day contract that will become official on Tuesday, according to Yahoo Sports.

Varnado reportedly worked out for the team officials in Chicago on Monday, The signing will bring the Bulls roster to 13.

In 22 games with the Iowa Energy this season, Varnado averaged 14.1 points, 11 rebounds and 4.7 blocks.

He was the 41st overall selection in the 2010 NBA Draft by the Miami Heat, but has played primarily overseas and in the Developmental League.

The Bulls will practice on Tuesday before departing to Toronto for Wednesday's game against the Raptors.
