The Bulls announced the signings of Mike James and Lou Amundson on Thursday.
Both players will be playoff eligible and the Bulls roster now sits at 15 with the signing of Ronnie Brewer also coming earlier in the week.
Like Brewer, the signing of James and Amundson provides the team with injury insurance, practice bodies and potential trade assets this summer as all three possess veteran salaries higher than recently waived power forward Erik Murphy.
James is no stranger to the Bulls or Tom Thibodeau having completed several 10-day stints with the team and playing under Thibodeau in Houston. Amundson was signed last season to a 10-day contract with the Bulls before finishing the season with the Minnesota Timberwolves. He begin this season with the New Orleans Pelicans.
