While the entire NBA continues to wait on the free agent decisions of Carmelo Anthony and LeBron James, the summer league has been overshawdowed with the silence of All-Stars that has given way for a lot of noise.
The Bulls are one of the many teams waiting to hear what Anthony will decide, but in the meantime, they released their summer league roster on Tuesday.
Headlined by 2014 draft pick's Doug McDermott and Cameron Bairstow, second-year guard Tony Snell will highlight the 12-man roster that will be coached by Bulls' assistant coach Adrian Griffin.
The Bulls will tipoff its preliminary games starting Saturday against the Los Angeles Clippers, followed by a game on Sunday vs. the Denver Nuggets. Their preliminary schedule concludes next Tuesday against Minnesota.
Once the preliminary schedule is concluded, the teams will be seeded in a tournament-style circuit that will determine the NBA Summer League Champion in the championship game on July 21. Every team is guaranteed to play five games.
Derrick Rose is expected to workout against the participants on the Bulls' summer league roster this week as a tune up for the Team USA minicamp that begins later this month. Rose won't be participating in any of the summer league games in Las Vegas.
