Sandra Bullock and Melissa McCarthy collaborate their comedy talents in "The Heat," due to be released in theaters on June 28, 2013.
We've been treated to the hilarious antics of both brilliant women in the past. Bullock played an officer in "Miss Congeniality," as agent Gracie Hart. McCarthy had viewers laughing in the aisles in "Bridesmaids." The two brilliant actresses working together gives audiences that hope that this may turn out to be one of the funniest comedy movies of the year.
"The Heat" will be written by Katie Dippold, writer for "Parks and Recreation." Paul Feig, of "Bridesmaids" fame, will work again with McCarthy, as director of "The Heat."
With a well-written script, the crew behind the scenes and the actresses in front of the camera, we may just have one of the better comedy films of the year. The elements are there. If everything comes together as it has the potential to, comedy fans can look forward to "The Heat."
I personally am looking forward to the collaborative efforts of Bullock and McCarthy. The details are lacking until release but to see the two actresses appear together could produce one of the reasons comedy fans love the genre.
Look for "The Heat" on April 5, 2013.
