Salt Lake Community College is a leading educational institution in Utah with many students out of state and large number of international students. It is very popular for taking generals before going to University, for obtaining certificates and assoc. degrees in different fields - nursing, cosmetics, business, visual arts, etc. A new media center will be opened in a few months to make the South City Campus at State Street in Salt Lake City a leading global education center in traditional and new art. The Art faculty has excellent teachers with long experience who are able to build even genius talent in the students if just they attend the class and do their homeworks.
Salt Lake Community College is a place where Bulgarians, as one of the compact communities in Utah, study and work. Albena (see photo, left) has been working in South City Campus Café for four years. The day will be not the same if you do not get coffee and meet the smiling face of Albena attending classes there. She is quite, pretty and intelligent woman who had come to Utah with Lottery Green Card together with her husband and son, Staniel. Staniel is now a college student to become a personal trainer in nutrition.
Lolita (photo, right), the author, has been rebuilding her higher academic education persuading a professor teaching position and leadership in the field of global humanity. With an academic profile of an archaeologist, historian, philosopher and being also a student in Forensic psychology at Argosy University and Multimedia at SLCC, she has been developing an unique academic profile in way in which the ideal professor looks in the 21st century.
Utah Bulgarian community has a Facebook page where another Albena hosts and shares wonderful photos and links to enhance the integrity and reproduce moral values.
There is NO crime and NO mafia and NO corruption among Bulgarians in Utah. We are all committed to high humanistic values, no reproduction of the corrupted and criminal values of the communist regime, which decades demoralized the nation and victimized most wonderful people in 1944-1989, as well as which have still heavy traces in some individuals and even organizations which compromise Bulgaria and Bulgarians.
Bulgarian community in Utah has been growing as exemplary for the global world because of the embedded strong humanistic values.
