Please introduce yourself to the readers:

Hello my name is George Asenov and I am a Bulgarian actor, born in Sofia- Bulgaria.

How and when did you first get into performing?

I've always wanted to be an actor , so in year 2006 I did an audition for the ''National Academy of Theatre and Film Art'' in Sofia - Bulgaria. I was lucky enough to be accepted on the first try. I've spent 4 years at the academy and got a bachelors degree of acting in drama theatre. I graduated in 2010 and the next year I was accepted at the ''Stella Adler Academy of Acting'' in Los Angeles where I spent 2 years. In 2013, I successfully finished my tuition there.

Who were some of your biggest inspirations?

I have always admired the work of Gary Oldman , Anthony Hopkins , Al Pacino , and actresses such as Meryl Streep and Emma Thompson. They are all character artists and I am inspired by them.

What kind have training have you done?

Well I already mentioned my education but can honestly say, it is been a
pleasure to study acting and getting into it's secrets.

What has been your favorite role to play so far?

I would say that I have loved all the roles I have performed so far , but probably the role of '' Musa'' from the play ''Bengal tiger at the Baghdad Zoo'' by Rajiv Joseph. For this part, I got to do an arabic accent and even spoke arabic, also.

What projects do you have coming up?

Speaking of future projects I booked two feature films and I am having
prepositions to do theatre in New York. So we shall see what is going to happen ..he he he ...

Who would be your ideal co-star and why?

Lol , there are too many fine actors I would like to work with , but working with Gary Oldman is a dream of mine.

What are your plans for the future?

My plans are to establish myself as an actor in the US by doing both theatre and cinema and I think the US is the right country for this occasion.

What is your advice to aspiring performers?

It's a cliche but it works : work hard and don't give up, you only live once!
