On Feb. 5 the American indie rock band Built to Spill announced headlining tour dates for the spring of 2013. The North American tour begins April 24 in Arcata, Calif. and ends on May 24 with their performance at the Sasquatch! Music Festival. You can view a complete list of tour dates below.
The tour will feature drummer Steve Gere and bass player Jason Albertini. They replaced departing drummer Scott Plouf and bassist Brett Nelson. According to an issued press release, the shift in line up was completely amicable. In the same press release the band says, "Scott and Brett remain our dear friends and we wish them well on their future ventures."
During Built to Spill's spring 2013 North American tour the band will perform 19 shows over a month long time span. The band's most recent studio album, "There Is No Enemy" was released in 2009.
