The whimsy and fantasy of Ringling Bros and Barnum and Bailey circus is coming to Chicago. The show coming to both Allstate Arena and the United Center is called Built to Amaze. The premise of this show is to share with the audience what it takes to build the Greatest Show on Earth.
From high energy to high jinx and hilarity, the audience is transfixed by colorful circus machinery and building blocks to construct this memorable show.
Prior to the show, the audience is encouraged to attend the All-Access Pre-show. Kids and adults can interact with the show's performers, participate in a dance party and learn all types of circus skills. Also, Asia, the elephant will show everyone her artist genius in her pachyderm painting.
Once the circus floor is cleared and the audience is seated, everyone is on the edge of their seats with excitement. This performance includes appearances by more than 110 of the world's best performers and 95 exotic and domestic animals.
A few highlights include the award winning comedic animal presenting duo of Alex and Irina Emelin of Russia, Tower Tumblers, a troupe of competitive aerial athletes from the Ukraine, and the legendary King Charles Troupe, a 12-member unicycle basketball performance.
Built to Amaze will be in Chicago for a month long run. Performances begin Nov. 1 - 11 at the Allstate Arena in Rosemont, Ill., followed by performances Nov. 20 - Dec. 1 at Chicago’s United Center.
Ticket prices for Built to Amaze! are $15, $20 and $25, with V.I.P. tickets selling for $40, and front row seats at $50 (weekday) and $60 (weekend). Also available for each performance are a limited number of $90 Circus Celebrity seats, guaranteeing a one-of-a-kind Ringling Bros. experience.
