The Build It Now Sioux Falls campaign goes into full swing this week with both television and radio ads scheduled to hit the airwaves. Over the next few weeks, the excitement is anticipated to build and lead all the way up to the election scheduled for Tuesday, November 8th.
The "Vote YES" forces (Build It Now Sioux Falls) will be hosting the Grand Opening of their new campaign headquarters on Wednesday, October 12, 2011 starting at 1:00pm. The campaign headquarters is located at 4001 Valhalla Blvd, Suite 106 in Sioux Falls. Interested members of the public are invited to come by, meet the staff and share some refreshments.
Because I believe the Events Center would be a "win-win" for businesses and residents alike, I have decided to accept a temporary position helping out with the campaign. I have followed other cities in our country when they have taken a similar step in building a large complex for events in their city and in most cases it has been proven to be wildly successful. It brings tremendous growth, new opportunities for local businesses and takes a city to the next level as a notable destination for visitors.
