Fandom Fest just announced on their Facebook page, yesterday March 2, that they will be making more announcements soon in regards to their August 1-3 convention in Louisville, KY. Fans were excited and so was this writer.

But, coming soon could mean today or this week so while we are waiting let's look at some of the stars that they have already announced.

The first big event is the "Star Trek: The Next Generation" Reunion that will bringing Marina Sirtis, Gates McFadden, Michael Dorn, Jonathan Frakes, LeVar Burton, Brent Spiner, and a "Special" Guest Moderator who will explore the essence of what made this amazing cast one of TV and Movies most loved. Visit here for information about this special event.

A rare appearance by Ksenia Solo who plays Kenzi on "Lost Girl" will be one of the exciting features of the event. "Lost Girl" is a Canadian show that has found a huge fan base in the US. It has currently in its fourth season and has recently been renewed for a fifth season.

Vampire fans are going to love the "Being Human" panel especially since the show has been cancelled and this may be a very rare and final appearance of the cast together. The cast members include Sam Witwer, Meaghan Rath, and Sam Huntington. The series is set to end on April 7.

And there is even more for vampire fans this year. Fandom Fest is bringing stars from the "Buffy the Vampire" series and movie. The stars are Eliza Dushku and Julie Benz from television series and Luke Perry from the original movie.

Other stars on the list include Bruce Boxleitner, Kevin Sorbo, Sylvester McCoy, Tony Curran, Grant Bowler and more.

So, who do you think will be the next announcement by Fandom Fest staff? Remember that Fandom Fest is Louisville's largest and first home grown convention. It has so much to offer fans of all genres. Can you wait?
