The annual Buffalo Winter Brewfest will be held at the Connecticut Street Armory, 184 Connecticut St. in Buffalo on Saturday, February 1st. The event, complete with its Irish theme, will feature two tasting sessions (1 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 9 p.m.).
The event will feature numerous craft beers from New York State and throughout the country. Confirmed for this year’s Brewfest are Chatham Brewing, Cortland Beer, Olde Burnside Brewing, Becker Brewing Co., Abandon Brewing, St. Lawrence Brewing Co., Gordon Biersch, Pearl Street Brewing, Pan American Brewing and Community Beerworks. There will also be wineries present, including Merritt Estate Winery, Sheldrake Winery and Vizcarra Vineyards.
Tickets are $35 in advance (at area Wegmans, the Pan American Grill and Brewery at 391 Washington St., the Pearl Street Grill and Brewery at 76 Pearl St., or the event website, www.buffalowinterbrewfest.com) and $45 at the door; tickets include a complimentary glass and unlimited samples. Designated driver tickets will be available at the door for just $10 and includes free soda and water.
