Buffalo Wine Festival: April 12th, 2014

The annual Buffalo Wine Festival will be held Saturday, April 12th at the Buffalo Niagara Convention Center, 153 Franklin St. in downtown Buffalo – sample food and wine from area restaurants and wineries while shopping for unique gifts at either of two sessions.

Nearly three dozen wineries will be participating in this year’s Festival, including:

· Ashley Lynn Winery

· Heron Hill Winery

· Fulkerson Winery

· Johnson Estate Winery

· Casa Larga Vineyards

· Mazza Chautauqua Cellars

· Glenora Wine Cellars

· Montezuma Winery

· Thousand Islands Winery

· Merritt Estate Winery

· Niagara Landing Wine Cellars

· Winery of Ellicottville

Among the vendors participating are:

· D’Avolio Olive Oils and Vinegars

· The Bavarian Nut Company

· Yancey’s Fancy

· Stuffed Chocolates

· Barker Chocolate Box

· Buffalo Cookie Company

This 21-and-over event features two sessions: the day session, from 1 to 4 p.m., is $30 per person in advance, while the evening session, from 6 to 9 p.m., is $35 per person in advance; admission includes a souvenir wine glass. VIP evening session tickets are available for $45, with an extra hour to enjoy the festival (5 to 9 p.m.).
