Buffalo Sports Travel: February 13th through 19th - updated

Buffalo Sabres – the Blue and Gold have four games this week, three at home in the First Niagara Center and one on the road. On Tuesday, February 14th the Sabres host the New Jersey Devils (7 p.m. start), then travel to Philadelphia, Pennsylvania on Thursday, February 16th to face the Flyers (7 p.m. start). They return home to face the Montreal Canadiens on Friday, February 17th (7:30 p.m. start) and have a role in “Hockey Day in America” on Sunday, February 19th as they take on the Pittsburgh Penguins at 12:30 p.m. Check for any available tickets for home games at www.sabres.com.

Buffalo Junior Sabres- the Junior Sabres host up to three games in the first round best-of-five playoff series in the OJHL playoffs, against the Hamilton Red Wings. Game One takes place Monday, February 13th at the Northtown Center at Amherst (1615 Amherst Manor Dr. near UB’s North Campus) at 6:30 p.m., with Game Two going off Tuesday, February 14th, also at 6:30 p.m. at the Northtown Center; Game Five, if necessary, will be at the Northtown Center on Sunday, February 19th at 6:30 p.m. Tickets are $7 for adults and $3 for children and available at the doors. Buffalo Bandits – the Bandits are off this week, preparing for the NLL All-Star Game at the First Niagara Center on Saturday, February 25th; game time is 7 p.m. More information and tickets are available at www.bandits.com.
