Buffalo Sabres – the Sabres are in the first full week of the shortened 2013 NHL schedule, with four games this week: Monday, January 21st in Toronto against the Maple Leafs (7 p.m. face-off); Thursday, January 24th in Raleigh, North Carolina against the Carolina Hurricanes (7 p.m. faceoff); Friday, January 25th at the First Niagara Center in downtown Buffalo against the Hurricanes (7 p.m. face-off); and Sunday, January 27th in Washington D.C. against the Capitals (3 p.m. face-off). Buffalo Junior Sabres – the Junior Sabres play twice this week: Wednesday, January 23rd at the Northtown Center at Amherst against the Milton Icehawks (7:30 p.m. face-off) and Saturday, January 26th on the road against the Orangeville Flyers (7 p.m. face-off). Rochester Amerks – the Sabres’ AHL farm team plays twice this week: Monday, January 21st at the Blue Cross Arena against the Hamilton Bulldogs (1:05 p.m. face-off) and Friday, January 25th, also at home, against the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins (7:05 p.m. face-off).
