Buffalo lights the way

On Friday, September 25th the annual Light the Night walk will be held at Delaware Park. The annual walk is held by the Leukemia and Lymphoma society. Registration is from 5 to 7:15 p.m. and the opening ceremony before the walk starts at 7:15. The walk starts at 7:30 p.m. and ends at 9 p.m.
You still have time to register for the walk and can donate at any time. It’s a perfect time to grab your coworkers, family members, and/or friends to show support. At the walk and during registration every walker is given a balloon with a light in it to ‘light the night’ as they walk through out Delaware Park. It really is a good time. It’s a great way to meet others and spend time walking for a great cause. To register you can go on the website listed below and click on the register to walk tab; you can make a team, join a team, or walk just as an individual. If you’re registering a team they ask to please include 10 or more people for one team and for each walker to please raise minimum of $100 each.
This event helps bring awareness of how many people are affected and ways we can help. All donations go to the Leukemia and Lymphoma society, and every little bit helps. Come show your support and join everyone for a walk at Delaware Park
