The Buffalo Junior Sabres will face the Hamilton Red Wings in the first round of the 2012 Ontario Junior Hockey League Playoffs beginning today, Feb. 13. In order to work with the available ice time at Hamilton’s home rink, the Jr. Sabres have agreed to adjust the playoff schedule and will now host the first two games of this best-of-five series instead of the original alternating home date format previously announced.
Game One will begin at 6:30 p.m. in the Northtown Center at Amherst, 1615 Amherst Manor Drive. Game Two will be held at 6:30 p.m. Feb. 14 in the Northtown Center at Amherst.
Games Three and Four will be hosted by the Hamilton Red Wings at the Dave Andreychuk Arena (formerly known as Mountain Arena) in Hamilton. Both games will begin at 7:30 p.m.
Game Five, if necessary, will be held at the Northtown Center at Amherst on Sunday, Feb. 19, beginning at 6:30 p.m.
