If you have driven through Elizabeth on Highway 86 in recent days, you might have noticed the popular bar Buffalo Boyds II has a very quiet parking lot.  On the door are posted a number of notices from the State of Colorado which state that the property and business have been seized due to a non-payment of taxes.  According to other sources, the employees of the bar were terminated without prior notice and the restaurant will be sold by the State to satisfy the tax bill owed.

Buffalo Boyds II is the second restaurant in the area started by Boyd Sneddon.  The first, located in the north part of Parker on Parker Road was sold and is no longer associated with Buffalo Boyds II in Elizabeth.

Yea i remember when the first BB was open in the strip mall next to my parents Horse Tack Supply store. They always had good food. I went into the one in Elizabeth once when i was passing thru and it brought back a lot of memories from growing up there and when my parents owned a Horse Tack Supply store at same building. Shame it closed down
