The Buffalo Bills have no new injuries as they prepare for their week three matchup against the division rival New York Jets.
Players that did not practice include: corner back Stephon Gilmore (wrist), kicker Dustin Hopkins (right groin), wide receiver Marquise Goodwin and corner back Ron Brooks.
Safety Jairus Byrd and offensive lineman Doug Legursky were both limited in practice.
Head coach Doug Marrone said he's happy with the Byrd's progress.
"I think every day there's progress. It's just a matter of time now till it gets to that point where he's going to be able to go out there. I think we're getting closer and closer," Marrone said.
In the meantime, Byrd is making his prescence felt on the practice field as he works with the Bills's young secondary players like safety Aaron Williams.
Marrone said it's like having an extra coach on the field.
As far as Byrd's availability for Sunday's game, Marrone said he likes to wait until Saturday morning (versus game time) to make that decision.
