Buffalo Beer Week, promoting the growing craft beer culture in the Buffalo-Niagara area, is scheduled for Friday, September 20th through Sunday, September 29th at numerous breweries, restaurants and other venues in the region.
Established in 2008, Beer Week has grown to include festivals, dinners, tours, pub crawls and more. Events include a week-long cheese and beer pairing event at Shango Bistro (September 20th through 28th), the Ballpark Brew Bash at Coca Cola Field on Saturday, September 21st (learn more about it here), the East Aurora Craft Beer Pub Crawl on Saturday, September 21st, the Beer, Wing and Football Sunday Funday party at Mr. Goodbar on Sunday, September 22nd from 1 to 7 p.m. and Oktoberfest in the Village of Williamsville on Friday, September 27th from 3 to 8 p.m. – view the complete listing of events here.
In addition to the Ballpark Brew Bash, another highlighted event of Buffalo Beer Week is the Buffalo Beer Geek Festival on Saturday, September 28th at Artisan Kitchens & Baths, located at 200 Amherst St. in Buffalo. There are two sessions – 1 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 9 p.m.; each session is $40 in advance, $45 at the door, or purchase both sessions in advance for $70. Purchase tickets here.
