Buffalo Bayou Brewing is official. The brewing operation debuted with a January 27, 2012 tapping of kegs at the Flying Saucer in downtown Houston and other taverns in the nearby vicinity. The celebration was well received and the brewery’s products have been given a stamp of approval by the Houston craft beer community at large, many of whom look forward to the day when Buffalo Bayou Brewing is open for tours and its products are packaged and sold in local grocery stores and other retailer outlets.
I had the chance to speak with Buffalo Bayou Brewing founder Rassul Zarinfar just recently and he said the official grand opening at the brewery will likely take place in March, 2012. In the meantime, the celebration continues at Houston area taverns and restaurants that are serving Buffalo Bayou Brewing products on tap.
