Buffalo Bayou Brewing: One year young and ready to party

Celebrating birthdays is a big deal for any business, but there is something about that first birthday that means something special. Many businesses do not even reach the ripe old age of 1, so to hit this milestone in the business world is a sure sign that customers are satisfied and things are going well. One local brewery is about to reach its first birthday and it is planning a big party to celebrate. Here is some background information:

Who: Buffalo Bayou Brewing

What: First Birthday Celebration

Where: Buffalo Bayou Brewery, 5301 Nolda Street, Houston, TX

When: January 26, 2013, from 12:00 p.m. to 3 p.m.

Why: To celebrate a memorable first year and cheer for more

Buffalo Bayou Brewing owes its beginnings to founder/entrepreneur Rassul Zarinfar and his desire to create a different type of brewery- one dedicated not just to making great beer, but to making beer that stood out in the crowd; a little eccentric, bold, and different from the beer commonly brewed and sold at most craft breweries. With determination and the assemblage of a great supporting crew, Zarinfar’s dream become reality in January, 2012 and Houston craft beer fans have been counting their blessings ever since.

Now, the establishment known as Buffalo Bayou Brewing is about to reach its first full year in existence and Rassul and crew have planned a unique and memorable birthday bash to celebrate the past twelve months and to thank all of the craft beer fans who have supported the brewery and enjoyed its products thus far. Buffalo Bayou Brewing has pulled out all the stops and is ready to entertain like never before with three hours of non- stop fun.

A celebration Buffalo- Bayou style can be unpredictable, but it is certain to be something you will not soon forget. According to the Buffalo Bayou Facebook page, the party will include live music, food trucks, a special anniversary glass, and of course plenty of beer, including some brews you have likely neither tried nor seen before. Like the beer itself, the celebrations take on a style and personality all their own and you never quite know what may happen next.

Buffalo Bayou Brewing is charging a modest cover fee of $20 for this early Saturday afternoon of entertainment and reservations can be made through Eventbrite by following this link. There is a small fee of $2.09 added to the Eventbrite bill upon checkout, but the total price of $22.09 is still tiny compared to the big beers and memorable moments this Saturday.

Reaching the age of one is an important moment and Buffalo Bayou Brewing is ready to celebrate with its adoring fans this weekend with music, food, beer, and more. Sure, Buffalo Bayou may still be stuck at the pre- toddler stage, but its beer making prowess and maturity is like that of a brewery more advanced in its years. Celebrate this first year of great memories this Saturday and be sure to toast to another great year ahead in 2013.
