The Buffalo Bandits announced this week that the team has opted not to renew the contract of head coach Darris Kilgour for next season, and will immediately begin its search for a new head coach.

Kilgour posted a 103-73 career record as head coach of the Bandits from 2003 to 2013. The Bandits went 11-9 in 20 playoff games under Kilgour, including three NLL Finals appearances and a Champion’s Cup win in 2008.

This season, however, the Bandits were the only team in the nine-team league not to qualify for the NLL playoffs.
