The Golden Door wants to buff you up to perfection so for the next coed week September 8-15, 2013, the elite health and fitness resort is offering high intensity exercise led by international fitness phenomenon Todd Durkin.
Todd will be at the Escondio, California spa to personally train men and women with a trio of powerful classes such as:
- Core and Cuff: Sessions to dig into your core and shoulder region and show you how to maximize fitness and sports performance.
- Boot Camp: Learn how to create a personal boot camp without any equipment necessary. Todd will show you creative moves that maximize results by combining sports-training exercise with cardiovascular and calisthenics workouts. Expect to be challenged.
- TD's I.M.P.A.C.T. Challenge: Talk about challenging yourself. This class takes you outside the proverbial box by teaming up Todd’s Boot Camp exercises with sports drills, team building exercises, and circuit training. Todd will share tips on how he works pro athletes while showing you how workouts can be fun.
And to really push you to the limits the Door offers early morning mountain hikes and other amped-up exercises.
Todd is a trainer for dozens of current NFL, MLB, and NBA athletes, including Super Bowl MVPs Drew Brees and Aaron Rodgers, NFL League MVP LaDainian Tomlinson, two Heisman Trophy winners, and an Olympic Gold Medalist. He is also the winner of two-time Trainer of the Year (IDEA & ACE) and has appeared on media from TV to magazines.
If you've never to be to the Golden Door, don't worry, you'll get plenty of pampering in-between Todd's heavy-duty body buffing routines. The Sunday to Sunday, $7,500 tab includes daily in-room massages, skincare, body treatments, hair, nails and makeup plus delicious gourmet-healthy meals (desserts included), snacks, time for steam baths, hot tubs and saunas, and lots of personal pampering by a personally-picked, well-trained staff and room attendants. Pack light, the Door supplies pretty much everything you need for the week from workout clothes, t-shirts, jackets, hats, slippers, robes and cosmetics. You will need hiking shoes and other footwear, underwear and personal items.
