Budweiser Opening Act Will Give 1 Artist Chance To Open For Jill Scott

Ten indie artists will soon compete for their chance to open for Jill Scott when the soul sister performs in Washington, D.C. this Sunday.

The Budweiser Opening Act competition starts Friday at 8 p.m. at LOVE Night Club, with a special guest performance by Dwele.

The competing artists include Ahnjel, Elle Marchelle, Carmen Cameron, B. Blunt, Keith Brown, Valerie Dawkins, Alison Carney, Lov.E (pro. Love "E"), Starr Anderson and Temika Moore.

Your Baltimore Performing Arts Examiner will be in the building -- with behind the scenes access granted by Gypsy Soul & Soulcial Grind PR.

The Budweiser Opening Act competition is FREE to the public. But get there early because it’s first come, first serve.
