On Oct. 1st, Buddhist mobs kill a 94-year-old woman and four other Muslims and burn dozens of homes in a small town of Thandwe. Same violence has been noted almost two months ago where 36 Muslims were burnt alive by Buddhists in Myanmar who were living peacefully as a minority. These Buddhists slaughtered Muslim students and their teachers in the presence of police department and other local officials who did not bother to stop this barbaric attack. Government of Myanmar along with print and electronic media remained silent as power intensification lies in the hands of Barman, Buddhist commanding all chapters of government. Therefore, a terrorist attack is not paid attention if it is done by non- Islamic figures (Buddhists).
Such horrific attacks and criminal behaviors are not justified by any religion. None of the Holy Scripture sanctions violence. Rules of law and justice should be provided to everyone regardless of religion; every human life has been created by God and possesses special dignity. To end innocent lives is not an injustice to humanity but to God as well.
