Bud Adams, owner of the Tennessee Titans was showing his excitement that the Titans beat the Buffalo Bills on Sunday. He gave the finger, not once, but twice to the crowd. Bud Adams is 86 years old and apparently doesn’t care who sees him do what. Or maybe he was just saying screw the Buffalo Bills or their fans for cheering. But these particular fingers were caught on video and placed on Youtube.
The buzz is hot on this internet search because an 86 year year old man did the flipping off. Bud Adams has apologized and said that he would accept any discipline the NFL dishes out. NFL players have been fined $7,500 - $10,000 for this type of gesture in the past. Michael Vicks was fined $10,000 in 2006 and gave $10,000 to charity. The league said they are looking into it.
“I do realize that those types of things shouldn’t happen,” Adams said in a statement. “I need to specifically apologize to the Bills, their fans, our fans and the NFL."
“I obviously have a great deal of respect for Ralph Wilson and the history we have shared. I also understand there will probably be league discipline for my actions and I will accept those.”
