'Buckwild' star Salwa Amin arrested on felony drug charges in West Virginia

"Buckwild" star Salwa Amin was arrested in the early hours of Monday, Feb. 11 in West Virginia on felony drug possession charges with an intent to deliver. TMZ reported that the 24-year-old Amin is currently in Central Regional Jail awaiting arraignment later today.

Salwa's arrest comes just days after MTV producers announced that they decided to give the green light to the reality show's second season.

This is the second arrest in the past year for the "Buckwild" star who was also arrested in July of 2012 in Kanawah County on a misdemeanor charge.

Sgt. Rick Drake with the jail says Amin doesn't want to talk to the media at this time and MTV reps have failed to comment on the matter.

As previously reported the "Buckwild" reality show depicts wild young West Virginians and has drawn criticism for what some see as a negative portrayal of the state's young people, much like the networks most recent hit "The Jersey Shore."

Fans are wondering if Salwa Amin's arrest will be written into the "Buckwild" season 2 storyline to draw in ratings like Snooki's, or if MTV will give the "Buckwild" cast member Salwa Amin the boot?
