"Buckwild" star Salwa Amin was arrested Monday on a drug charge in West Virginia and is being held today (Tuesday) on $200,000 bond. The MTV reality star, whose show now fills the coveted "Jersey Shore" time slot, is reportedly facing felony charges of drug possession with an intent to deliver.
TMZ was first to report the 24-year-old "Buckwild" star's arrest claiming Amin was hiding in a shed when police picked her up Monday in Charleston, WV. According to reports she was in possession of Oxycodone and heroin was also found nearby. Along with Amin, two other men (who are not on "Buckwild") were also reportedly arrested in the drug raid.
According to Salwa Amin's official "Buckwild" bio, she's a recent college graduate who lives at home with her "strict parents." It goes on to add whenever she is able to slip away she's "the first one at the party."
MTV confirmed earlier this month "Buckwild" will be picked up for a second season. The reality show has been dubbed the south's version of "Jersey Shore" for its wild antics.
An MTV spokesperson refused to comment on Salwa Amin's arrest.
