On Feb. 23, 2012 Superior Woodcraft and the Doylestown Business Community Alliance (DBCA) will host the 3rd Locavore Buy Local Bucks County Business Community event.
The event organizers hope that the event will show area residents just how important local businesses, especially food producers, are to the overall strength of the community.
Local farmers and food producers will be set up inside the Superior Woodcraft location for what Superior Woodcraft Vice President Patrick M. Kennedy calls an “open house” style event.
Representatives from several local food related companies will be on hand to talk with attendees about their products. They will also have a sampling of their products for community members to inspect and possibly purchase.
The event will be catered with local food and beverages as well.
Superior Woodcraft is located at 160 North Hamilton St. in Doylestown. The Locavore event will run from 5 to 8 p.m.
This event is free and open to the public.
