Looseleaf Trio, a three man acoustical band from Bucks County, has been bringing their vocal harmonies and inspired lyrics to audiences across the county since 2010.
Rhett Tierney, Andrew Napoli and Keith Boehm came together as a band in 2010, but they had known each other and played together for nearly a decade before forming Looseleaf Trio.
“Me and Andrew Napoli (bass player) have lived next door to each other for about ten years now and have always shared an interest in good music,” said Rhett.
“I was introduced to a distant cousin of mine named Keith Boehm (drummer) also around ten years ago, we have been great friends ever since and play very well together. We also share a passion for music.”
Rhett says that the band pulls inspiration from older groups like The Beatles, Buddy Holly, Bob Dylan, Muddy Waters, Ray Charles and Bob Marley.
“Also the pop music coming out today inspires me,” said Rhett. “Not because I like it, but because I want to change the style of music from canned electronic music to real music with feeling and insightful lyricism.”
While performing live at venues across Bucks County and Northeast Philadelphia, the band plays a mix of original music and covers of fan favorites.
The group is currently working on an album of their original music.
