Bubba the Love Sponge sees chimp attack victim pictures; regrets ridiculing Charla Nash (video)

Howard Stern Show
follow-up man Bubba the Love Sponge began his Thursday morning radio broadcast by discussing the recently released chimp attack victim pictures of Charla Nash. The Bubba the Love Sponge Show regularly plays two different song parodies ridiculing the chimp attack including a remake of Billy Idol's "Eyes Without a Face" that the shock jock is now considering taking out of rotation.

Bubba the Love Sponge started out his Thursday morning broadcast by saying that the Charla Nash chimp attack victim pictures: "might be the worst thing I've ever seen."

Bubba also stated that he is considering discontinuing the use of the chimp attack 911 call recording during his broadcasts. "It was funny until you started seeing pictures of her face," said the newly sensitized "Sponge".

Bubba the Love Sponge Show staffer Manson offered a defense of the show's repeated mockings of the infamous Charla Nash chimp attack: "If I had my face ripped off by a 200 pound chimp, I don't think I'd be worried about a radio show writing songs about it."

Charla Nash's name skyrocketed to the top of Google Trends this morning after the woman who lost her eyes, nose and hands to a chimpanzee attack earlier this year gave an exclusive interview to Oprah Winfrey and revealed her severely mangled face.

A lesson to all who insist on owning exotic animals. If you think you have it rough, think of this and remember there will always be others worse off than you. Whatever lawsuits are filed, she deserves every penny. Quality of life...gone.

What a crock! Today, 11/13/09, Bubba broadcasts that he doubts they would have made the parody songs had they seen her post-attack pictures. Immediately after that, he plays clips of both parodies then asks listeners to call in to vote if he should continue to play these tasteful songs, only play the clips, make it available only online, or never play it again. One caller who voted to keep playing it was allegedly the victim. He's considering takign it out of rotation? Ha! Anytime anyone complains about any song, he plays it to death to thumb his nose against decency. Bubba's claims that no listeners are complaining from Miami is not so as I have sent him 3 to 4 emails questioning his tastelessness. This is the same crew that thought the 911 call from a father whose child got killed by their pet constrictor was hilarious, replaying and pausing the parts where the dad is moaning and wailing. This show has an army of loyal listeners so might makes right, what a world this has become.
