On Wednesday the player announced that he is the latest celebrity to get the coveted free Chipotle burritos for life card. Don’t mistake this simple card for just another gift. Celebrities beat down doors and say Chipotle in front of cameras as often as possible to get this card and it’s only offered to a select few stars and it's usually done in secret.
“Thanks chipotle for my free burrito's for life card! The best thing ever! I really appreciate it!” tweeted Bryce Harper from his official Twitter account. Adding a picture to show off his newly acquired card, fans could immediately see that the card wasn't a joke.
The Chipotle’s free burritos for life card isn't just handed out to everyone. Another famous star that is rumored to have a card includes soccer player Abby Wambach. While not everyone is handed this special card, when it is given out, people get a little jealous. Bryce Harper should be concerned if people start asking him to go to lunch and ponder the idea of picking up a burrito.
