The casting on X-Men: Days of Future Past, based off of the legendary Uncanny X-Men story by Chris Claremont and John Byrne from 1981, has been a mixed affair recently. There was speculation of Alan Cumming returning as Nightcrawler, which was shot down by Cumming himself. Though, Bryan Singer, who's directing the film, decided to reveal his current cast himself on twitter with one new name no one had heard yet, Fan Bingbing. From that simple whiteboard of headshots, the question was, who is she playing in the movie?
From that wall comes confirmation by Deadline that Fan Bingbing is playing the teleporting mutant Blink. Fan Bingbing is a relative unknown here in the states but internationally she's a superstar, coming off of the successes of the art film Double Jeopardy and Lost in Thailand, both breaking box office records in China.
