Bryan Fischer has an extensive history of latching onto questionable sources, or even just making stuff up on the spot, and presenting them to his listeners as 100% fact, just so long as it is complimentary to his preexisting prejudices.
In just the last few months, Fischer has come to this column's attention numerous times for such, such as declaring that Hillary Clinton is a lesbian, that Barack Obama is supplying arms to Al-Qaeda, that Huma Abedin is an operative for the Muslim Brotherhood, and that Japan bans mosques, Qurans and Muslim immigration.
So it comes as no surprise that Fischer felt Steve Doocy, a man with a 100% false rating on PolitiFact.com, was also a credible enough source enough to repeat his completely false claim that Obama sent more guards to the World War II memorial to keep veterans from entering than were sent to stop the attack in Benghazi.
According to Fischer, President Obama would like nothing more than to "arrest these vets, haul them off to jail, handcuff them to a cot."
"He sent more guards to the Mall to stop veterans than he sent to Benghazi to stop Muslims," said Fischer, "which gives you an indication of his priorities."
Back in reality, this gives much more of an indication of where Bryan Fischer's priorities lie than Obama's.
No matter how many times Doocy, Fischer, or any of their facts-optional colleagues repeat this claim, it will not magically become any more true than it is right now.
