Bryan Fischer: ACA a "disaster of historic proportions," death of socialism

In addition to never ceasing his thoughts about sex, Bryan Fischer is well known for his complete aversion to fact-checking and his ability to detach himself from reality.

On Tuesday, the American Family Radio host was once again broadcasting from Fantasy Land, where, despite more than a million people having signed up for affordable health care since the Healthcare.gov website was announced as fixed, Obamacare is such a monumental disaster that he predicts it will be marked in the history books as the moment that socialism finally died.

"Obamacare is catastrophic, it is cataclysmic," said Fischer. "I've said this before, I'll say it again: it is not fixable, this thing is an utter, absolute, complete disaster of historic proportions.

"Ladies and gentlemen, you are living through American history," he continued. "I want you to understand the significance of this. You are a living witness of American history. You are living through something that people will be writing about a hundred years from now and that is the time period in American history when socialism exploded, when it imploded, when it became evident to every thinking American that socialism does not work, it cannot work, it is impossible to work, nobody can make it work. We are witnessing the death throes of socialism and you are witnessing that."

Yet, had Bryan Fischer cared to take a peak back at reality, he would have seen that the Healthcare.gov website has, so far, already worked for at least one million people.

Sorry Bryan, but no matter how many times you chant it, it will never magically become reality.
