A Bryan Cranston role is making superhero (and villain) fans excited this week, as the latest rumors are saying that Bryan Cranston is looking to be cast as Lex Luthor in the upcoming “Batman” movie, and according to the report, there’s a good chance it may happen. ABC shared the details this Monday, Aug. 26, that the “Breaking Bad” star possibly playing the upcoming Batman/Superman sequel villain has sparked more excitement than some other film news announcements this week.
The Bryan Cranston role of the actor possibly playing Lex Luthor in the “Man of Steel” sequel movie has some people seemingly more abuzz about the superhero flick than talk of Ben Affleck being cast as Batman.
Although the rumors that Bryan Cranston has been cast as Lex Luthor remain only talk for now, it seems that the “Breaking Bad” actor would be a great addition to the upcoming film. Cranston, age 57, has many fans seemingly more receptive to having him on the big screen than seeing Ben Affleck starring as Batman on the same side of Superman, played by Henry Cavill.
According to the press release, Bryan Cranston has been working on a film deal for the “Man of Steel” sequel to appear as Lex Luthor in no less than six movies with Marvel Studios. At this time, though no official casting announcement has been made, and none will likely be given until the hit “Breaking Bad” draws to its end.
