Bryan Cranston role as Lex Luthor in "Man of Steel 2" was reported to be cast. The 57-year-old Cranston was said to have inked a six-picture deal, which includes the role. According to the International Business Times on Aug. 26, 2013, Warner Bros is expected to formally make the announcement after the season finale of "Breaking Bad."
The high-octane Man of Steel 2 has also been dubbed Superman vs Batman after it was revealed that the 2015 film will feature two of the world's most iconic superheroes going head to head.
The Bryan Cranston role as the villain comes on the heels of the announcement that Ben Affleck will play Batman. Henry Cavill will reprise his role as Superman. While not all fans are thrilled with the new Batman, Cranston is perfect as Lex Luthor. In his role as Walter White, he cemented in our mind the fact that he can really play evil in "Breaking Bad."
This Bryan Cranston role will be even more convincing than Kevin Spacey's Luthor to be sure. In addition to his movie deal, it has also been reported that Cranston will also be working on new television shows with Sony. All of which spells great news for fans.
