The comedic bit between Bryan Cranston and Julia Louis-Dreyfus definitely impressed the fans of the 66th Primetime Emmy Awards. Both entertainers are accomplished in their own right, but they once worked together on “Seinfeld.” The chance to see the two stars again had people giddy to start with, but when they kissed on national television everyone was going a little bit crazy. According to the Huffington Post on Monday night, the two stars started the bit on stage when presenting an award.
During the exchange before the nominees were announced, Julia Louis-Dreyfus referenced that Bryan Cranston looked like a guy once on “Seinfeld.” The banter went back and forth before Bryan Cranston suggested they kissed on the show. Of course Julia Louis-Dreyfus just shrugged it off and the moment moved on. Her lack of interest was absolutely hilarious and she appeared so serious.
Later on when accepted an award for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Comedy the two stars had another encounter in the audience and once again the issue of working together came up. That’s when Julia Louis-Dreyfus got a big kiss from Bryan Cranston in an epic moment that will go down in Emmy history as it was too funny to ignore.
With so many entertainers at the Nokia Theatre, it is safe to suggest that nothing spices up an Emmy Awards like a make-out session between two married actors! For “Seinfeld” fans it was a moment to remember as well as the show is part of TV history and every guy Elaine (Julia’s character) dated was scrutinized by the fans.
