Bruxie creates its own celebration in honor of coffee lovers in February. Perfect timing with Valentine’s Day front and center on Feb. 14. At Bruxie during the Bruxie-dubbed Coffee Lovers Month, guests will be offered a complimentary coffee between 8 a.m. and 10 a.m. daily with the purchase of a Bruxie sandwich, salad or Belgium Original. The month-long February promotion adds to the restaurant’s Weekday Morning Happy Hour at all Bruxie locations, three of which are in Orange County. The restaurant is known for its gourmet waffle sandwiches.
The featured coffee is Peet’s Coffee and the offer is valid for regular or decaf coffee. Specialty coffee drinks are not included.
Bruxie Managing Partner Dean Simon said he is proud to serve Peet’s premium coffee. The restaurant offers a full barista service of Peet’s Coffee & Tea along with a variety of Bruxie signature waffle sandwiches, including a new item: Country Sausage and Egg. It includes griddled country sausage, jumbo egg and Tillamook cheddar cheese. The price is $6.50. Among the restaurants other featured items are real Wisconsin frozen custard, shakes, sundaes and floats and old-fashioned cane sugar sodas. The menu pricing tops out at $10.
And, FYI, there is a National Coffee Month in August. Bruxie is giving Coffee Lovers some recognition in February.
The three Bruxie locations are Old Towne Orange, Brea Downtown (Birch Street Promenade) and Rancho Santa Margarita. Another Orange County location in Huntington Beach is scheduled to open in April. One Bruxie location--actually the fourth to open--is at The Shoppes at Chino Hills. The Huntington Beach restaurant makes the fifth Bruxie presence. Its first location was at Old Towne Orange in 2004.
