I recently went on a week-long vacation to Italy where I not only drank lots of wine and ate lots of pasta, but I also tested brushes from Morphe.
They offer the whole kit & caboodle in brush options:
You name it, they got it!
I was able to try a full array of brushes and I must say I was very impressed. All the fibers were incredibly soft and I was pleased to see that there were a myriad of options as far as thicknesses of the bristles. I was previously used to 2 types of brushes in my life before this -- eyes & face. Nothing more! I was very intrigued to see if knowing the best brush for the best task would create an overall better look...
and I am happy to say, it did!
The foundation and buffer brushes are perfection. From the first use I was hooked! My foundation went on so clean and smooth -- it felt like I was using a brand new powder. On all my day trips in Italy -- despite the long hours -- my look lasted. Most of the time I just went for a fresh face / clean look --- and I was able to achieve effortlessly. Most days I didn't need to wear cover up on certain spots -- I just did an overall powder which did the trick to balance my complexion.
The eye shadow base brush was a great all-purpose eye brush. Although I loved using the blending brush, crease brush, smudging brush, and others -- while I was in Europe and trying to travel light -- this 1 brush could manage the job of them all. It's soft bristles were able to evenly disperse my eye shadow -- even for more complex looks such as smokey eyes. I was overjoyed to see that the brush easily grabbed and distributed the powder across my lids and delicately blend different shades to create one cohesive look.
I couldn't have been more happy to receive these products and the results that I achieved with using them. You would think that a brush would make a minor difference in the finished product, but I was pleased to discover a noticeable improvement in my look!
Don't let being a brush novice get you down! Try Morphe!
