Chef Santo Bruno is at it again, but this time he brings it back to Tampa.

I can't say enough about his latest venture; Bruno's New York Brick Oven Pizza located at 11203 Sheldon Road in Tampa.

First of all, Chef Bruno is a world renowned celebrity pizza chef and has opened dozens of quality Italian restaurants across Europe, North America, South America and Asia. He got his culinary training in Palermo and is the real deal.  He opened his first pizzeria at age 18, is a regular contributor to some of the industry's leading pizza publications and has been featured on Martha Stewart, the Discovery channel and the History channel as an industry mogul.

His new pizzeria, Bruno's Brick Oven Pizza uses Chef Bruno's exclusive blend of specialty mozzarella cheeses and spices and is absolutely the best in town.

Chef Bruno's son Louis Bruno runs Bruno's Brick Oven Pizza and says "we take great pride in offering the best choice of authentic New York Style Pizza as well as great Pastas, Calzones, Salads and more."

And what a treat it is, the Menu is traditional. There pizza is priced right at $11 for a 14" or $13 for a real New York Style 18' pie. You can include traditional toppings for just $2 and their Stromboli, Pepperoni Rolls, Pin Wheels and Calzones are huge and priced right at under $6.

They have overstuffed Hot Subs starting at $7 and their ingredients, sauces and cheeses are amazingly fresh and uniquely New York. Don't trust me, check out the pictures!

The location is central to Carrollwood, Citrus Park, Westchase and is a recommended excursion from anywhere in the Bay Area.

Bruno's Brick Oven Pizza is more of a carry out pizzeria right now, but following their Grand Opening on August 28th, they will have outdoor seating in their unique patio area.

As a pizza lover from New Jersey, I can assure you will not find a more uniquely New York Style Pizza anywhere in the Bay Area.
