Though the official announcement will not be made until Sunday, anonymous sources are reporting that the half-time entertainment at this season’s Super Bowl will be Bruno Mars, the Grammy award winner who is undoubtedly one of the music industry’s most successful people according to recent sales of music product. Mars has been quite popular via his CD recordings for a couple of years.
Mars, 27, a Hawaii native, is relatively new to the music industry – compared to others who have had the honor of performing at the industry-coveted Super Bowl half-time show. It was just three years ago that his first musical album was released in 2010. Though he is new, he has already accumulated a list of hit songs to his credit, including “Locked Out of Heaven,” “Just the Way You Are,” and “Grenade.”
The Super Bowl usually goes with talent that has been around longer than Mars has been, but they always go for some of the best talent they can find. Past entertainers have included Beyonce and Madonna.
