2014 Super Bowl half-time sensation, Bruno Mars, recently visited the set of The Ellen DeGeneres Show. The 28-year old Hawaiian dynamo gave an impassioned speech to all aspiring singers and musicians everywhere. The speech was fueled by an article written in the New York Times suggesting that Mars perhaps was not famous enough or even ready to perform for such an enormous gig as the Super Bowl half-time show. Boy, were they wrong, so very, very wrong.

Let that be a lesson to the naysayers. When doors of opportunity open for a person, they just open. Things like age, race, experience, etc., can sometimes get checked at the door. When you’re hot, you’re hot and right now, Your Hotness Bruno Mars is scorching.

Bruno Mars’ Moonshine Jungle Tour begins April 18, 2014 in Honolulu, HI.
